On March 28 I deposited a money order. On July 6 my bank debited my account for that deposit claiming that it was a forfeited check. I think that this debit is illegal because more than 100 days passed and I had already assumed this was a good check. Anybody knows what is the time limit for a bank to charge back a forfeited money order?

I just got my first credit card and it has a $2,500 limit on it. I have charged $2,225 on it. I will only be able to pay the minimum payment this bill cycle of $50. Though I should be able to pay it off in full by late September. In the mean time I need to pay some bills. Will I get a $2,500 credit limit the following cycle or just the remaining $275 until I pay the bill?Submited by:life

I checked my wife’s credit report and she has 3 accounts with late payments from several years ago prior to us being married. One was past due 60 days, one was past due 30 days a few times, and one was past due 120 days. How long will her credit rating be impacted by these accounts? Is it 7 years from the time the account is closed?

I have a Bank of America Credit Card and they just double the interest rate to 28 percent even to all good customers. I know by canceling it hurts my credit history.

No one told me you needed a credit history to get a card and experience to get a job (only a degree for getting a job)
